Lest you get the wrong idea, and some comments would lead me to believe you might, the dealer I got this vehicle from was very up-front about potential issues. I think part of the reason he held on to it for a year was to try and overcome it's shortcomings. He did what he could with the gearset whine and he's the only one I know of who has been bright enough to cut out the original battery charger cage so the suspension wouldn't hit it.
No, any design and quality issues in this vehicle can be laid at the doorstep of the manufacturer and the importer.
I went into this knowing (for the most part) what the issues were likely to be. 'Aware' and 'fun' aren't necessarily the same thing. We're working through it... We'll get there.
